Trace, Track & Movement of the Products

Traceability in industries refers to the ability to track and trace the movement of products, components or materials throughout the supply chain or production process. It involves recording and documenting the flow of these items from their origin to their final destination, enabling stakeholders to identify and trace their journey at any point in time. Our traceability systems typically rely on unique identifiers, such as serial numbers, batch numbers, barcode, QR code or RFID tags, to associate each item with its relevant information.

The component / product in the process is assigned a unique barcode / QR code / RFID tag which is the primary step in traceability and also termed as registration. This identifier contains relevant information about the step or component, such as its ID, manufacturing date, batch number, etc.

Our automated systems are equipped with barcode / QR code / RFID tag scanners to scan the relevant information at each step of the process. This scanning can be done using smartphones, specialized handheld scanners, or integrated scanners in machinery.

When a barcode / QR code / RFID tag is scanned, the information encoded within it is captured. This information could include timestamps, location data, employee IDs, or any other relevant data points depending on the requirements of the process.

The captured data after the process is logged into a centralized database or tracking system in real-time. We use this database to record the movement and status of each component or step throughout the process.

Managers and supervisors are given the access to monitor the progress of the process in real-time using the data logged in the system. They can track the location of components, identify bottlenecks, analyze cycle times, and ensure compliance with regulations or quality standards.

In case of defects or quality issues our barcode / QR code / RFID tag tracking allows for quick identification of the affected components or steps. This enables swift corrective actions and ensures traceability throughout the production or manufacturing process.

Barcode / QR code / RFID tag tracking systems can be integrated with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to streamline data management and automate processes further. This integration enables seamless data exchange between different stages of the supply chain or production process.

This can also be used for maintenance tracking and inventory management. By scanning QR codes on equipment or inventory items, maintenance schedules can be tracked, and inventory levels can be monitored in real-time.
